I was living in another state when I sign a lease on this place. The picture on the web page aren't even close to the real condition of this place. You will see the brand new sign and "club house," makes you think this place cant be that bad. Oh no....the inside of these apartments haven't seen New since 1940....or before. They also don't show pictures of all the trash....trashy latinos hanging around at all hours of the night. How many little gringos people can you fit in one apartment' You would think that putting your trash bag inside the trash bin wouldn't be that hard, maybe in Mexico you are supposed to leave your couch, mattress, cabinets, old mirrors, various trash bags, and don't forget all of the beer (that you had to ditch when you spot the ever predominant Alexandria Police lights) two feet in front of the trash can.
Oh and don't let the management fool you, the rent price says nothing about how much you will actually pay. They conveniently add a trash/water/etc bill that you are supposed to include in your rent check for your convenience...well why didn't you just quote me that price to begin with' Honestly you would be better off on the street. If you are female...DO NOT RENT HERE! You would have to have a gun, mace, dog and a cop boyfriend to even walk home at night. These scum bags will yell at anyone who walks by, oh and I hope that you don't have a nice car. Once a drunk resident coming home smashed into 6 parked cars and totaled them all! Don't even bother with maintenance, you are better off hiring your own handy man here...Oh don't let me forget their idea of "cleaning an apartment before you move in." This involves splattered paint (oil based paint that peels off the walls, no one taught these people how to color within the lines b/c there was splattered paint all over my bathroom tiles, base boards...etc). Most importantly, on July 4th one careless resident (latinos grilling in the grass behind the apartment) dumped their hot burning coals right nest to (not inside) the trash dump, this lead to the entire fence around the trash can to go up into flames. Of course the office was closed...I had to yell into the phone at the on call guy to even get them on the phone. I called the fire dept. they came out and put out the fire. The next business day I called the apt office and they knew nothing about it!!!! So I am telling you that your apartment could burn down and the management would not even know.

and the thing is, they seem to find this acceptable! never in my life or in all of the places that i have lived have i had to put up with ONE of these situations, much less all of the ones that you mentioned. Watch out for those parking lots too, it was the middle of the day and some "woman" was apparently more in a rush to go where she was going than to watch where she was going and plowed right into my car. She didnt speak english but I was able to copy down her insurance information. Thank goodness for that. (*Oh and now the management has changed again. they did have someone in who knew what she was doing but she was replaced with a liar who my guess wont be able to keep this job for 60 days.) good luck remaining residents!
