Kingsport Apartment From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/11/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I decided to move in this complex at the last minute, I was moving back into the area and I came in on a discount.. Let me first say that this complex has the ability to be excellent. Somebody needs to care about what happens here. There are so many consequences fo the tenants, but none applied to the mangers. Honestly I thought that the new mangement would make a differnce but I think that they have just want everyone to disappear so that they can go on with their plan of a new complex. but how can you make someting new that has so many issues that need to be addressed first' I have no problem paying the rent EVEN if it goes up but the service has GOT to get better. The complex is too small for the residents not to be notified about all the changes that are taken place. We got a letter on our doors once the mamngement had changed. Another thing it would have made sense to post the letters about the trash bins being moved before they were moved, There shouldnt have been any threatning letters talking about being fined $50. This should have been communicated to the residence before anything happened. Another thing that so many people complain about is the AC/heat units and the electric bills. Its such a shame that I have a 2 bedroom and my electric bill was $200 this month. I leave out my house at 7am and I dont return until 6pm. I will admit that I leave my temp set to 70% or I wouldnt be able to breathe once I returned. But I dont have a HUGE apartment, My bill should NOT be so much. I dont have a pest problem although with alll of the rebuilding in the area I have seen rodents outside. We have a communication problem at our complex. If we could get that together, we could work on the other issues.
