I would not advise anyone to move here!!!! I have lived here for almost 3 years only because the rent is very cheap and I m planning on buying a place once my lease is up! But it s almost not worth it for what you have to put up with!! Where to start ..

1. Forget calling the management poor, they are just awful! God forbid that anything breaks in your place because it may take a minor miracle for it to get fixed! My air conditioning broke in the end of July and I called to have someone fix it, it wasn t fixed till the end of August! I called every-other day and went into the leasing office about 3 times a week .. I talked to 2 different property manager and both promised that it would be fixed that day or the next. They did put a window a/c unit into my apartment, but with 100 degree weather that really didn t help and I was paying for an apartment that had central a/c. My a/c was only fixed when I made a very angry call and threatened to call my own repair person and have the bill sent to them and in addition I was going to call channel 7 news and the better business bureau. To my surprise the a/c was fixed later that day. It makes me wonder if it was that easy to fix why that could not have been done to begin with . Also with all the time that passed while trying to get the a/c fixed the management tried to claim that since there was a change in management that they were not aware of it. I let them know that I had called about 20 times and come into the leasing office close to 15 times and spoke to all managers. And I find it hard to believe that a company buying a property wouldn t take the time to find out what the defects are in the buildings .

2. With the transition to the new name, new ownership of the property there has been little communication if any! One day I came home to find that the signs had been changed from Kingsport apartments to Eaton Square .. The next day there was a crinkled up note stuck in my door jam. Also if I hadn t had asked questions I would not have know that they were going to be doing complete renovations of the apartments. They also started construction on the roofs and left a notice that day that the a/c would be shut off due to the repairs and there was no date give that it would be completed and turned back on .. This was also when the weather had stayed warm about 80-90 degrees. The a/c has still not been turned back on and has been off for about a week and a half!

Even after the renovations have been made I doubt that the management will improve! It will just increase the rent ..
