I have lived here for a year and am very happy to say that my lease is up and I am getting out of here ASAP!! The maintenance is horrible! There is a mice problem and my water has been turned off several times for no apparent reason. The shady people who live in the area made me very uneasy. I cannot go anywhere without some perv staring and making nasty comments, which I think goes the same for all the women who live here. The noise outside my apartment is absolutely rediculous. I constantly hear people yelling and talking outside untill 2 or 3 in the morning all week long, and if you ask them to please be quiet they will ask you to "come downstairs if you want to start something" followed by lots of profanities. You will comstantly hear sirens night and day.

When our lease was up, we didn't receive anything for about a month. We were given the option to move to one of the new renovated units ($2500 more in rent) or move out within 30 days. The new apartments are nice but just don't have the support of the old buildings and HORRIBLE neighborhood. Definately NOT worth the new rent costs.
