Kingsport Apartments

I have lived in this apartment complex since late July and have had no problems whatsoever. The staff is nice and always responds to my requests and needs, they even let me use their copier and their fax machine when I need it. The apartment is great. Everything inside has been redone from the walls to the floors to the fixtures to the appliances. Everything is brand new. The rent is reasonable for the Alexandria area and they even let you live your first month free. I have no problems with noise or with the people that live there. I can always find a parking spot not far from my building. The pool is nice and they are building a fitness center and cyber cafe.

Geez!! Just admit that you're really the manager. ...they let me use the copier and fax machine... So does 7-Eleven. Do they have a washing machine or dryer to use when yours stops working!? No. The fitness center (Really a room) has been closed over 2 months. How long does it take to paint walls? My first month of rent was NOT free. That coupon works only during the slow renting months. Whatever, Mr. Manager. Instead of writing fake resident reviews, try responding to a few of the many complaints on your desk.

Natedude...most people only post things on here if it's negative. I read yours and I'm wondering if you are still having a good time there? I currently live at Buckingham Village so I'm very familiar with ghetto life. I'm being forced to move because they will tear my building down in a few months. In your opinion would Eaton Square be O.K.?? Are you familiar with my current apartment complex in comparison? Just want an honest opinion and I don't trust the opinions of all of the pretentious, materialistic, douchebags that can't put up with a little imperfection.

Well I am not familiar with buckingham village but I think if you can put up with a little imperfection then Eaton Square is a good one.
I am still having a pretty good time here. They built a trash compactor to ease the trash issues, the new fitness center and business center are nice. Front office staff is friendly and does their best. Sometimes you have to get on maintenance to do something but if it's important than it gets done as soon as possible. Only issue so far is bathtub drain clogging but maintenance has equipment to easily fix it. The walls aren't completely soundproof but I haven't had any real noise problems with neighbors. Parking near your building isn't a problem unless you are coming late at night. Then you will still find parking but will have a longer walk to your apartment.
As far as pests, seen a couple little bugs but thats it. For mice/rats, I have heard sounds on roof but never seen any in the apartment itself. I think the mice/rats issue varies depending on the building, but since they renovate them for new tenants I think the problem is solved. When I checked my apartment has no entry points for them so I don't think its possible they can enter.
There are definitely apartments available(the apartments below mine are empty) and the rates are low for the area (around 1200/month). You are stuck with the high rates of Comcast for cable.
Best of luck in your apartment search.
