Rental Office slightly incompetent

The apartments themselves are rather nice.
There's sometimes a problem with children of all ages running around.
The biggest complaint is with the rental office; though they try to be nice they are very dis-organized. The once lost my rental check, and I had to pay them an extra $300 in fees. If you call to have a questions answered no one knows the answer to it and will try to rush you off of the phone. Once you move out they don't bother to tell you anything about moving out procedures, or when you will receive your security deposit back. They really don't know but usually say its up to 45 days. They allow the residents to have grills both charcoal and gas. You will see residents on any night of the week cooking out on their balconies without regards for the safety of their neighbors and the rental office doesn't seem to mind.
In addition to the leasing consultant; they need a resident manager; someone who deals strictly with the customer service issues. Then outside of the neighborhood, Lafayette would be a decent place to live.
