The staff at Lafayette is so so so so so so incompetent, they do not know any leasing policies. If you ask a question they never know the answer to any questions. Make sure you read all your papers before signing anything and get a copy of your lease. They will tell you that the property manager will need to sign off on your lease, do not take that get your lease that day. Please refer to your lease periodically because the staff will not answer questions. Please please know your stuff because they may take advantage of you.

Since last visiting the complex it has gone down, children playing in the streets so that you can not drive. They love to play ball on cars not belonging to them. Children also play inside the buildings and people smoke on the steps. The parents do not say anything to their children about the activities.

The cleaning crew does not clean good, it looks like they mop with dirty water and that they clean once a week. I have noticed that only 2 people are hired to clean the whole entire complex of about 20-30 buildings.

The best thing is the rental office is it decorated nicely but that is the best thing. Do not be tricked by that. The buildings are not as nice, basically they are dirty!!!!!!
