Lafayette Apartments is NOT a bad place to live

I have been living in Lafayette Apts for 1 year and it is not so bad the way the previous reviewers stated:
1- from Jan. 2007 - Dec. 2007 Lafayette Apts had the same management. Now there is new management - Jan. 2008
2- Drug activity is EVERYWHERE and so is CRIME. It is up to YOU to contact the POLICE and MGMT to let them know, where this activity is located on the complex.
3- I think the MANAGEMENT and MAINTENANCE people are GREAT! You can only expect the service for what you pay for and what they offer. If you feel this is not good enough for you, then you should never had move into an GOVERNMENT REGULATED APT COMPLEX (based on your INCOME)
4- Whenver I need maintenace they are there!
5- The Management are professional, polite and understanding people!
6- The Apt building where I live on the complex is GREAT!
7- My building is very clean, the front door is always locked, no one is hanging around the halls or front door, the laundry room is clean and the neighbors are very considerate about playing loud music.
There are very few Government Regulated Apartments that occupy working and respectable people . The Lafayette Apartments are one of the few!
