I have lived here for a little over a year and these are my complaints:
Apartment seems to be "sinking" (floor is unlevel and verical cracks in walls).
Parking spots are too small.
Noise from the parking lot (people arguing and construuction).
Laundry room mischief/hoggers (someone threw my clothes from the dryer into an empty washer to steal my drying time!)
Repeated visits from fire trucks and police cruisers.
Elevator hoggers (usually people moving that use all three elevators or without reservations).
Shady eople checking out cars in the parking lot during early morning and late night.
People hanging out in vestibule until someone lets them in.
Kids running and screaming in halls.
No outdoor space other then the pool.
Bathtub was painted before my arrival and is now chipping.

These are my praises:
24 hour emergency maintenance.
Maintenance team is friendly and quick.
Only two roach sightings so far.
Regular exterminations.
Kind office staff (they actually answer their phones here!).
Decent price.
Decent apartment space.
Clean hallways and laundry rooms.

My tips:
Read and keep your monthly Community Courier. They usually address any issues or complaints that residents report. Also, the calendar on the back is handy for exterminator visits and construction schedules. I wouldn't reccomend these apartments if you have kids, because there is no outdoor space for them to play.
