I am in the process of moving in. So far everything seems nice. The leasing agent is awesome. When I first got there there I tried looking for a visitor's parking spot so I parked near the front door. Got out my car and entered the highrise. I went through the first door and then tried the second door but couldn't because it was locked. Slowly I looked to the left and theres the little control panel where i followed the instructions on the screen, punched in a few numbers and the leasing office picked up. I women's voice was on the speaker and told her what i wanted to do. She says "GREAT!" and buzzed me in. I went into the office, she saw me and told me to have a seat. I wanted for about 5 seconds before she sat down with me. I explained to her that I was looking for an apartment. She went over everything with me. I wanted to get a one bedroom, there was one available but she couldn't show me one until the next day. She gave me a tour of the building. Theres a pool, gym, party room that can be rented out, and laundry machines on every floor. They are controled by money cards that get brought from a machine on the wall so theres no need to save a bunch of quarters, i thought that was cool though. We went back to the office she took my info ran it through the system and she said she was going to give me a call so I left. I was about to head to Woodbridge, Va an hour later and the leasing lady called me. I was approved for the apartment and could move in on the 7th, I agreed and she asked if I wanted to come back for a orientation, and i did. During the orientation she gives me the rules and policies on everything, from maintanence to parking. They have controlled access into the building using magnetic cards. The movement of large furiniture have to be schedule ahead of time and only can be moved through the large bay doors and taken through the cargo elevator only, and the cargo elevator is controlled by staff. The policies were very strict and i had no problem with that. I mean like no loitering in the common areas like the hallways, downstairs lobby for long periods of time, no loud subwoofers in the apartment because everyone works, dont park across white lines or you will get towed, if your car alarm is sounding off for a long time, it will be towed.... The next day i saw the apartment and it was very nice with a nice view. I couldn't wait to move in after seeing it. Everything seems about right so far, nice and quiet. I mean we were in the elevator, the leasing lady and I and when i resident came in she greeted the person by their first name. One building, small community. She says after a while you will know who stays there or not.... In about a month I will give another review.

Welcome to Landmark! It really is a nice quiet place. It gives you a homely feel to be able to strike up conversations with people you tend to see often in the elevator, downstairs, etc. The only thing that may get on your nerves at some point is visitors. You have to get a visitors pass during office hours. This can be a pain sometimes if hypothetically, a friend/relative decides to visit you last minute and the office is closed. They will tow so don't take it lightly. I definitely enjoy living here though. Welcome to the community! :-)
