I have lived at Landmark Terrace for a little over a year now. While the location is very practical and close to DC and Old Town, there are too many downfalls that come along with it. The two biggest issues I have are the roaches and the noise. Even though they do come spray when you come ask them to, it does not change the fact that they are still there. Unless you live on the 3rd floor, expect to hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the apartment above you.
Even though it was not a problem when I first moved in, parking is now a huge problem. You are provided with two parking passes, but having visitors is a nightmare. They will get towed (which costs $125) if they do not have a visitor pass. At one point in time if your guest was not from another state (you had to provide their registration to prove this) they were not able to get a visitor pass.
The price is good and all utilities are included which is also a nice perk. HOwever, the minute my year was up, I recevied a letter indicating that my rent was being raised. I dont think its worth $1200 to live with roaches and noice.
