I moved out of lloyds apartment almost 3 months ago. Wow! That sounds so good to say. My apartment was infested with every type of insect known to man. I had cockroaches in every room. These roaches didn't run away when you turned on the lights either, they would crawl on your face when you were sleeping, they would climb on your table when you were eating, once a roach even climbed on my remote control when i was watching tv. The apartment also had bugs which i have never seen before. Plus, I think that there were rats living in the wall, because i could here things running around all the time.
My apartment was on the second floor which had 3 other apartments. The apartment next to mine was occupied by a young married couple. Almost everyday when the husband would leave for work one of the wife's boyfriends would come over and all could hear was the sounds of them having sex. The other 2 apartments were 1 bedroom apartments, but at least 12 people lived in them. I'm not joking....12. All i could hear at night was them coming in and out yelling at each other in spanish and blasting thier fiesta music. I often spent many nights sleeping at my friends house so i could actually get some sleep.
There is also something wrong with the electricity in the buildings. the lights in the kitchen and bathroom would just turn off and on by themselves. freaky.
The laundry rooms are terrible. the smell is unbearable because they're right next to the trash rooms.
The one good thing about the place is the maintenance staff and the cleaners. They are very friendly and are always willing to help you. They woman who works in the managers office is new, but she is knowlegable and very helpful . The few times i had contact with the new manager i thought she was a real -----. Other people i have talked to have said the same thing. She's not very helpful.
I now live at abbott's run apartments. It is great, i love it here. Two of my other friends have moved here from lloyds and they are sure glad to be out of that roach motel. Other places might cost you a little more money, but trust me it is worth it.

How come Lloyd Aparments average rating is 83% when this great new place you say is better than Lloyd Apartments, Abbot's Run only has 41% rating. Looking at the reviews, it seems like a place a lot worse off than Lloyd Apartments.

Can't say anything about either complex, but in doing research on AR, the overall ratings can be deceiving. What people say in the reviews, and often how they say it, is far more telling.
