I like it, actually.

I'm living in 5335 right now, and I find it enjoyable. Granted, the hallways always smelled of food, you have to pay a water bill now (it used to be included in rent as with the other basic utilities), and you can't crank up the heat to 73 degrees... (I too noticed that cold air comes out of those vents, esp. cuz my bed sits right under it... but when it's snowing out, it's enough to bring my apartment up from freezing to comfortable.)
This apartment was a great fit for me. The management keeps out of my hair (unless I need repairs done, but I haven't ever needed any repairs), I've never had any problems finding parking, the hallways are always brightly lit (which is important for me because I work late hours), the roads are generally well maintained during snow season (shoveling and salting), and the location is great for someone who doesn't feel like driving that far for any daily living needs. It's right next to the 395, the library, groceries, and Koreatown (if you ever wanted to go to Koreatown).
Not sure why someone was complaining about the kids -- I never had any problems w/ them; they're playful and generally hang out near the fountains, away from the parking lot. Per the sometimes broken "secured" front door, personally I think it's deceptive security, since people open doors for each other all the time. Anyhow, I like this place.
