I have lived in this complex since the spring and have found it to be generally superior to most city rental apartments. The complex is generally well kept and the office staff has never been anything but pleasant and helpful. Maintenance staff are slow, but fixed our plaster and other issues within a week or reporting the problem. It helps to realize that living in an older building (1940s) in the City brings with it certain problems, no matter how good or bad the management staff is. Bugs are always an issue in the city in the best of buildings, and this place is sprayed more frequently than any other I've lived in. Also, parking is tight; I was just thrilled they had a lot AT ALL and that I had an option other than the street. Also, living in an apartment you WILL hear your neighbors. I lived in the Carlyle towers and still heard my neighbors clearly through the walls. That's apartment living; deal with it. This place is well maintained, the neighbors are friendly, and the area can't be beat.
