Manor House

My husband and I have lived in Manor House for a little over a year. When our lease was up in July, we knew we needed a bigger place, but instead of moving out of the building, we actually decided to move to another unit within the same building (a common occurrence we found out!).

We really love the features of our apartment that make it feel like a home, not just another place we're renting: the hardwood floors, the crown molding, the china cabinets in our old place, the his and hers closets, the ceiling fans, the HUGE storage closet.

The office staff, especially Olivia, is great to work with and all our maintenance issues have always been dealt with in a timely fashion. One Sunday evening, we locked ourselves out while doing laundry and, despite it being a Sunday evening, they were so helpful in helping us get back to our place.

The laundry room might be a little small, but there's a great sign up sheet, which lets you reserve the time you want to do laundry - so much better than standing around, waiting on machines on a Sunday evening!

Most of all, everyone who lives in Manor House is very friendly. It is not uncommon to stop and chat with people you see in the hall and I think the building's safety is greatly enhanced by this.

On top of all this, the Del Ray neighborhood is fantastic!
