Manor House

My wife and I lived here for exactly three years. The management is very on top of things with maintence and pays attention to detail to make living here a lot more enjoyable. They recently upgraded the hallways, doors and put in new windows that are easy to clean. Everything is in tip-top shape.
Our unit was fully cleaned and ready to go when we moved in with new appliances. It doesn t cost a lot to heat/cool and the stove is gas, which is nice. Utilities always very low each month.

Neighbors are nice and friendly in and out of the building.
Very convenient to the up and coming Del-Ray downtown area and there is literally a bus stop right outside the building. This is no suburban cookie cutter neighborhood; mix of young professionals to families to retirees all living in the area with the mayor residing down the street----a lot of community feel to this neighborhood. We never felt unsafe when walking from our cars to the building at night.

If you want to have a good time, Del-Ray downtown area and Old Town Alexandria is just around the corner and down the street.
Braddock Road and King Street Metros are both a 20-minute walk and 5 on a bike. Easy walk, it is all level ground.

YMCA is two blocks away with a Giant and CVS next to it.

If you have a dog, there is a designated place right out back to let them "take care business" so you don't have to go far.

There are no complainants, only praise to the Management Company and staff to taking pride in their property to make this a great place to live.
