My wife and I lived at Manor House for nearly two years and had no complaints about the home, the neighborhood, or the experience of ths staff and amenities. We would have liked to stay longer, but we started a family and needed at least two bedrooms, which Manor House does not offer. That said, the one bedroom apartments make the most of their space, making the kitchen/dining, living, and bedroom areas feel like separate and distinct areas. We never felt cramped while we were there. The only caveat to that statement is storage: The main closet is a great storage location and we made the most of it, but the apartment did not offer a separate storage location.

The staff are friendly and they are firm about the rules (e.g., rent due on the 1st of the month), but we liked the consistency. We also liked the practice of signing up for specific times for the washer/dryer. We haven't experienced that since, and it made life a lot easier.

It was great to have Monroe's right across the street (fantastic perk), Del Ray shops less than a mile away, and the Dash bus right outside. On mornings/evenings when I chose to walk to the Braddock Road Metro stop instead of taking the bus to King Street, it only took about 20 minutes for the walk.

Overall, a great experience that we would definitely recommend.
