I came to Meadow Creek expecting a decent place to live and what I got was a few notches below that. Parking was not that bad, and the occasional spider or random bug showed up, not more than any other place I've lived. (and this one is practically in the woods. My neighbors were nice and fairly quiet. No complaints there. Where I have a problem is the Management and the Maintenance, read on for why:

Overall the apartment I have/had (I'm moving out in 2 mo.) was clean for the most part, and things were in working order. However I lived on the top floor and we had a roof leak, right into our bedroom. It was fixed the first time with a mess left behind for ME to clean up, it was supposedly fixed a second time. And the third time I had to really bit my tongue not to SCREAM at the property manager who thought it was no big deal because it could be a different problem than what had already been fixed.

Now it is raining and I am having another problem with the same spot in the ceiling of our bedroom. There is a crack behind our front door and their attemt to patch it left yet another mess for me to clean up as well as the keys to our apartment on our floor. That makes me feel real safe, thinking that they don't care that they lost them somewhere...

Our air-conditioning unit has also not been working correctly for the past two weeks and no one has come out to look at it. I have called and left several messages. I have also stopped in and told them, watched them write down requests, and nothing is done after that either.

I wouldn't have a problem with this complex if the management actually cared. And if the maintenance staff atually maintained the property. The rental staff seems to rotate every few weeks or months. Every time I go in there a different person is working the front desk. They have no employee retention, besides the manager. And she could care less about the problems a tenant is having, don't expect her to EVER call you back. Even when that problem is health related. I do not want a moldy ceiling or rain water soaking up my carpet. The maintenance picks up around the grounds but when my awning outside of my apartment is rotting and falling off of the roof, and they refused to do anything about it - I knew it was time to get out.
