I have been at Meadow Creek for a year. I am happy to say that I am nearing the end of the my last and happy to bid farewell. I stayed here because it was cheap compared to other apartments in the area. And you definately get what you pay for. They try to lure you in with the updated kitchens but soon found out after being there no more than 3 weeks that the standard kitchen comes with roaches no matter how clean you are. The walls are super thin so plan on hearing people's conversations, babies crying, kid's running and jumping up and down oh and mice running back and forth. Yes, they do have mice and yes I lived on the top floor. What made me decide to move in with a friend while still having a lease was the bed bugs. I kid you not. I honestly did not know bed bugs existed until I woke up every morning to bites on my stomach and legs. I thought it was a spider that enjoyed my scent. It was not until I woke up in the middle of the night turned on the light and saw at least 10 little black bugs on my sheets. Still not knowing what they were I contacted manangement who sent their own exterminator who did nothing but sprayed for roaches. I called my own exterminator who identified them as bed bugs which the area is seeing a lot of lately. I had to pay $500 out of my own pocket to fix the problem. The new management would not reimburse me and said it was my problem not the apartments. A month later I got a notice on my door from another resident who went around to inform people who may not know where these bites were coming from who too had the same problem in another building. I know this was not an isolated problem. So, yes Meadow Creek has bedbugs. Look it up because it's not a joke. Management will deny it but again the don't live their and are clueless and do not care about the well being of their residents. It is not worth it. Meadow Creek's rent my be cheaper than most but the setbacks are by far not worth it. Please think twice before renting an apartment here.
