I lived in these apartments from 02/03-04/04 and I'm thankful to be gone.
The building management has no idea how to run a proper business. The folks in the main office treat you like gold until you move in, then you're a liability, and they do their best to make you feel unwelcome.
Multiple times I've had to contact Scott Management for issues with their main office, and received an even less than welcome feeling from them.
The neighborhood is one of those neighborhoods you don't feel safe walking in at night. My car has been broken into, twice. Large groups of people congregate in the parking lot at night. Gang-related grafitti on all the buildings. There were multiple assaults and a stabbing on the premesis. Abandoned cars with flat tires and broken windows have sat in the parking lot for months.
It took building maintenance 2 months to fix my AC, and only after threatening to not pay rent did they get it fixed, same-day. My garbage disposal STILL doesn't work, after multiple reports to maintenance.
And to top it off, when I gave 30-day notice, they informed me that even though I was on a month-to-month, I had to give 45 day notice, and that I couldn't give notice until the 15th of the month, basically guaranteeing them another month's rent.
If you're considering Meadow Woods, RECONSIDER!!!! I have never lived in a place that made me feel as uncomfortable and unwelcome and unsafe as this place.
