BEWARE, THEY SUCK!!!!!

We lived there for about 3.5 almost 4 years. Whenever I'd have an issue (noisy neighbor) the property manager would NEVER call me back. EVER. Only when I'd go down to the leasing office would I get an answer, and it was normally BS.
The roaches in the apartments are HORRENDOUS. Maintenance sucks!
They lost our RENT CHECK at least 3 times. When we moved out we received a notice of unpaid rent....I went to the rental office and gave them a copy of the check and the DUMB PROPERTY MANAGER told me everything was ok and we owed nothing else.
Well, YESTERDAY (4/20/06) we got a call saying that we owed Meadow Woods $170 and change. BS!!!!! They have our forwarding address AND our telephone number (It didn't change) and no one EVER contacted us from Meadow Woods or Scott Mgmt.
I would never EVER live in another community owned or managed by Scott Management. They hire extremely incompetent people in the leasing/mgmt office.
I am a commercial property manager, and if I treated my tenants the way we were treated, I'd have been fired years ago.
One more thing, my husband's car windows were broken twice in TWO months. We reported it to mgmt and they did NOTHING. Safety is a real issue at Meadow Woods.
A cabby was once jacked in the parking lot - saw it on America's Most Wanted.
