My boyfriend and I moved in a couple months ago and are really enjoying our new home. The apartment is plenty big and it's nice that the kitchen, dining, and living rooms are all open (good for having people over) we can hear our neighbors TV sometimes but it never bothers us plus they can probably hear our music/tv/friends too. I can always find parking, if not in front of my door very close by. It may not be the safest area but I've never had any problems, every neighbor I know is friendly... the balcony is huge...
to still be this close to AVA and not pay 1500 for a one-bedroom is great (cuz we can't afford that anyway) lots of stores and shopping close by!
I love Huntley Meadows nature preserve (just down the street), it's really pretty and a nice walk.
rt 1 traffic can be bad until you learn all the short cuts (there are lots)
overall we ain't leaving anytime soon!
