I am due to move into this place this month. I picked it because a friend lived here, and she didn't seem to have that bad of a place. At first I was thinking that I was going to ignore the ratings, as most of them are old (and to be honest, the pictures posted do not even LOOK like Meadow Woods). But my problem is with the management.

They are not willing to let you see a floor model of the apartment you're moving into. They claim they have none. My boyfriend is furious, because he says he's leasing something he hasn't seen. Every time I call, the person I want to speak to is never there, and at times the leasing specialists are RUDE! I got one that was really helpful, but the other day I called to ask once again when we'd be able to get our keys (day of!!!), and the snotty girl I talked to said, "umph, we ALWAYS change our locks". I didn't ask you that. I asked you when our apartment would be completed, so we could at least look at it before moving in.

They're coming across as very dishonest. I called the regional manager and that woman blew me off.

Don't move here. You can do better.

That is very common for the management team to be like that. Its been almost 10 months and I am still trying to get my security deposit back from them. They do not know their heads from their butts. Do not let the lack of new pics make you think this place is better then it is, they started to paint and change the way things look on the outside last summer because people know what kind of hell hole it is. The inside of the apartments are still full of roaches and other nasty stuff. Please stay away from this place and try to live somewhere else. You will be miserable.

The pics to me look to be true, because they somewhat look like my apt. Everything is falling about inside my place. Yes, listen to the reviews, they ARE TRUE!!! If you don't move in the front where the rental office is, you will have noisy, ghetto, neighbors AND roaches. I get rid of them and they keep coming back. I can't wait to get out of here.

Hi there! Sorry to hear about your struggles. I am the one who posted the pics of Meadow Woods. I was at Fairchild Dr. in a 2bd. Trust me, the pics are AFTER the workmen had done "everything they can". They weren't even BEFORE the work was done! DON'T move there if you can help it. My boyfriend and I ended up taking a $600 month rent increase to another place entirely to ENSURE that we weren't left like that again by management. Absolutely, positively EVERYTHING I stated and took pics of is 100% true. I have alerts set up here so that I know when anyone writes about this place and I can hopefully steer as many people clear of it as possible. Good luck!

based on them pics it looks like to me this person kept their house dirty.... i lived in meadow woods for about 2 yrs on fairchild drive next to the playground. i will agree that the management office is horrible as well as the maintenance crew... my cellings were falling down because the neighbors above me had a bad leak and it took them forever to fit it. it went from the kitchen to the dining room area. i did have roaches... but not as much as you may think... instead of depending on the rental office to spray i went and got my own ..... the pic with the tube...lol.. my tube did NOT look like that in any shape, way or form.... i can tell you that i finally got fed up and broke my lease when one morning i woke up and found a mouse coming towards my room...... to be honest when i was there about 4 yrs ago it was a mess... i just went back a couple of days ago because i heard about the new change... and guess what the staff is new but the attitude is still there... they did show me an apartment that looked better than the one i had.. and yea it depends on where the apartment is located weather you will get a nice one. clean one, non ghetto neighbors( as someone put it).... so if you do move there ... yes move near the rental office
