Tons of benefits

I recently moved from the Meridian at Braddock Station after having lived there for just one year. What I found about the apartments and property in general is that the benefits FAR outweigh any negative aspects of the Meridian.
The apartments are SUPER close to the Braddock Road Metro, which was always very convenient when I traveled. DCA is just one Metro stop from Braddock (so it was actually faster to ride there than to drive).
Parking spaces were tight, but I never had any problems with them, and it's such a benefit to have your car underground as opposed to sitting on the street, considering weather and just living in a huge city.
I never had any problems with maintenance staff... they were very punctual and spent time leaving notes for me if there was any delay in repair. Also considering that there are so many apartments in the building, I assume that the most time-sensitive issues were dealt with first. On top of that, maintenance even changed the lightbulbs in our apartments. I've never heard of something like that before.
The staff was wonderful while I lived there. Although I'm sure that they couldn't satisfy everyone, I felt like they genuinely cared about the quality of life for their residents.
All in all, rent seemed to be very comprable to other apartments in the area, and the location was great. Old Town Alexandria was less than a mile away, and offered such great shopping and restaurants. I would definitely spend the time to take a look at the Meridian at Braddock Station.
