I'm leaving the Meridian at Carlyle due to job-related relocation, but I would stay if I could. Now that I have been looking around for a new place, I appreciate the Meridian more than ever. The building is very well built. I rarely hear my neighbors, and the builder took time to put in extra woodwork and angles in the walls/ceilings, which gives even the most simple floor plan added character. This is something often not found in other new apartment buildings with flashier common areas and amenities, because the builder will cut corners on the units. The solid construction, plus being walking distance to the Metro, Whole Foods, and Old Town make the Meridian a fantastic place to live.
