My husband and I love living at the Meridian at Carlyle. Our apartment is a one-bedroom plus den and faces the park across the street. Whenever I bring people by they're impressed (we've convinced two couples that are friends of ours to move in and they both love living here too). The building is well-maintained, the staff is very friendly, and people are quiet. It's very nice to be able to picnic in the backyard or laze out by the pool in the summer. The very best thing is the location -- you are a four minute walk to the metro (with two lines, blue and yellow), an extremely easy walk into the heart of Old Town (we walk regularly to the waterfront and back) and to all of its great restaurants and shops, there's a Whole Foods on the corner, and you are immediately across from a park.
