There are a lot of positives about this place. I did a lot of shopping around before deciding on Millbrook. I'll just list out the postiives and negatives.

Postives:
- Landscaping - Some people won't care about this, but when I walk around Millbrook's property and the surrounding community, I am always thoroughly impressed with the care and attention that has gone into it. We actually look out over a beautiful wooded park.
- Quiet neighborhood - I've always felt very safe in this area.
- Proximity to DC, Old Town, and Arlington - It's a short drive to both, which is convenient on the weekends.
- Good service - I've always had really good experiences with the people up there; my wife's had a couple poor experiences.
- They gym, pool, and raquetball courts. The pool is great and very clean. The gym is small, so I had to join a Gold's, but it's suitable for the occasional lift or jog. The raquetball court is almost always open.

Negatives:
- No direct Metro access. The shuttle is great, don't get me wrong, but it is so much less convenient. For the price you pay at Millbrook, I would expect direct access.
- Ants. We had them one year for a couple weeks. It was miserable. Millbrook did pay for the exterminator to come a couple times, and that took care of it.
- Noisy cieling. We can hear our upstairs neighbors marching around. This is the case with most apartments I have ever been in, so I'm not sure how to gauge this objectively.
