My husband and I moved to the Millbrook in July, and we love our apartment!

It's pretty spacious, and we have a great balcony that overlooks the nature preserve behind the complex. The shuttle to and from the metro is very convenient and picks us up right next to our building.

There are plenty of activities to keep us in shape, such as the pool, the 24 hour gym, the outdoor beach volleyball court, the indoor basketball and raquetball courts, and numerous running trails in the area.

There is a small shopping center accross the street with a Giant, CVS, Starbucks, etc., which makes it very easy to pick up the essentials or grab a bite to eat. Teh grounds are lovely, and living in a gated community makes me feel very safe.

The maintenance was incredibly quick about fixing the only problem we had so far (garbage disposal), the office staff is very friendly, and I haven't once heard my neighbors.

The only downsides are as follows: they charge us $25 per month for each cat (we have two), the shuttle only travels during rush hour (which I think is normal for complexes that offer this service), and I wouldn't mind a little more closet space.

I think this problems are a small price to pay for living in a great place for a reasonable price!
