These are not bad apartments. Office staff: decent. Grounds: clean. Apartments: functional. Pests: none. But I can only recommend this place if you're in your 20's and don't have kids. If you do have a child/children, the problems are: 1.Layouts are for roommates. Living rooms are like pass-through areas to get to the bedrooms, which are on opposite sides of the apartment. Big open areas and a lack of solid wall space makes it hard to arrange furniture if you want to spend most of your time in the living/dining area. 2.No place for kids to play. 3. No sidewalks to walk the length of the complex, only to walk from your car to your building. Everyone who walks more than a block walks in the road. Everyone who drives in the parking lot goes 25mph or faster, which is really unsafe considering all the military guys have double cab monster pickups and people who park next to them have to back out blind. 4. Lots of noise late at night. People come home at 2am and shout in the parking lots without thinking about how sound echoes between buildings. I have had 2 sets of neighbors above me and both have included people who frequently come home at 2, 3 4am and walk heavily back and forth on the floors and drop things. 5. This may be specific to my apartment, but there's a person upstairs who regularly talks on his cell phone on the balcony, and says things you don't want kids to hear.

Okay, now points 1 and 2 I should have thought about before I moved in. My fault. But I couldn't tell how many 20-somethings without 9-5 jobs lived here when I toured. That was in the day and it's usually quiet in the day, as I guess the residents are still sleeping or just waking up. Anyway, it's time for us to move on, as that glorious grad-school phase of my life has ended.

I've been here for three years; this review is on target. I'm leaving, mostly due to the very high cost.
