I've been here about 3 months know, and so far I have no complaints. I haven't heard too much noise from any of my neighbors, most are mid-30s or so and very nice. The amenities are awesome. Management has been really responsive to anything I've needed. My apartment is a little pricey, but for a 1 bedroom it's a lot bigger than others at the same rate. Conveniently located, everything you'd ever need is within walking distance, except a metro and there is a shuttle to that. I wish it ran 24/7, but it only runs during business rush hours, which is reasonable. It's a little pricy but worth it overall so far.

I was happy here for 6 months until I got a new upstairs neighbor: a hyperactive woman with an addiction to high heels who had the most irregular schedule - sometimes she'd get home at 2am and stomp around, sometimes she'd get up at 5:30am. Sometimes both within the same 8 hour period! I went from normal person to sleep deprived wreck. Whether or not you're happy here totally depends on your neighbors, and it's just the luck of the draw. A little mass-loaded vinyl between apartments and some actual enforcement of quiet hours would make a big difference... but look at the parking lots lately; they're totally full. With no one buying and everyone renting we're all lucky to have the privilege of paying $1500 and up for a place to NOT sleep. My advice to anyone looking for an apartment in the D.C. area: DON'T. Go somewhere else. If you're used to a middle class standard of living, all you will find here is substandard living conditions and high prices.
