Gates are not locked and there is no viable or visible security. Entrance gates, which could be closed, have been kept openned to all for two months. Sad but true.
The major part of the single trash pickup area that is regularly kept up is the price charged each resident in addition to the monthly rent fee. Sad, but honestly the truth.
These problems are the result of corporate policy set by the business in Chicago that owns the facilities. The staff apparently has no power to address problems. Sad but most likely the truth.
Maintenance remains understaffed. Thia apartment complex is clearly aging out. Maintence does its best to address problems. But this area is clearly understaffed - a highly short sighted cost management decision on the part of personnel. Sad but true.
Another example of corporate greed. This company is in need of a few class actions by renters. But who has the courage to lead such an action'
By the way the prices posted on the Millbrook website are dishonest. The prices are higher by $100 to $500 depending on the time of year you rent. Essentially they are, for marketing purposes, understated by 7% to 14%. This is essentially and regretfully dishonesty on the part of the managment of the website, Equity Residential the company that owns this complex.
