I have lived at Mount Vernon for 4 months. I absolutely love it. I'm not saying others might have experienced bad things because everyone is different, but I personally haven't had ANY problems. The staff has been nothing but helpful, maintenance is prompt and efficient, and they speak English. I haven't seen any bugs or roaches in my apartment. I feel completely safe walking around at night (although I would avoid the 7-11). Just because people are of a different ethnicity doesn't make them sketchy to me. If you don't like diversity you definitely don't want to live her. I would recommend it to everyone. The only downside is that it is pretty far from the city because of traffic. If I didn't have to be closer to the city I would stay here indefinitely.

You must be dreaming about where you live. You can not be living at Mount Vernon Square Apts. Maybe you work for management and should not be posting anything on this website. This website is for the truth, Try telling the truth. Everything you said is not true. Where do you live, not where we do!

have you opened your eyes lately, ethnicity isn't what makes these people sketchy, its what they are doing that makes them sketchy. Have you happen to notice the MS13 gang tags on cars, signs, and the such? If you feel safe then you are one of 2 types of people, 1, you are friggin crazy or 2, you are a gang member. That being said, I'm not pointing fingers but I'm leaning towards the former because I don't think you have a high enough I.Q. to operate a can of spray paint.

If you so hate it then leave. If you don't live here then you don't know what changes they have done to make it better. No I haven't seen any ms13 tags because Fairfax police actually do there job. I"m not the original poster.
