I WAS GLAD WHEN MY LEASE WAS UP!!!
THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE, THE MAINTENACE SUPERVISOR IS RUDE AND THE PROPERTY MANAGER IS SPACEY, LIKE SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHY SHE'S THERE. IN THE SUMMER TIME I DIDN'T HAVE A/C FOR ALMOST A MONTH. I KEPT CALLING AND CALLING, AND A MAINTENANCE GUY SHOWED UP WITH A FAN. WHAT A JOKE CONSIDERING I PAY SO MUCH FOR RENT AT THIS DUMP; WITH IT'S CHEAP APPLIANCES AND FIXTURES.
NOT TO MENTION THE DRUG ACTIVITY ON REPUBLIC COURT AND I'M PRETTY SURE THE PROPERTY MANAGER IS AWARE. I HAVE COMPLAINED AND SO HAVE A FEW OF MY NEIGHBORS AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT. THIS PLACE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT RENTERS BEWARE. "EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS GOOD ON THE OUTSIDE, IS NOT GOOD ON THE INSIDE".
THE PROPERTY MANAGER AND THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR THAT WERE IN CHARGE A FEW YEARS AGO WERE MUCH MORE ORGANIZED AND WELL ATTENTIVE TO THE NEEDS OF RENTERS. NO MATTER WHAT THE PROBLEM OR CONCERN MAY HAVE BEEN.

another angry hater that likes to lie. so I guess you have never heard of the police if you KNOW who is selling drugs or where they just your supplier and you are mad that they KICKED YOU OUT. You had six years to leave why if things were so bad did you take so long to move?

It's to much of a coincidence that everytime someone posts a comment like this; an anonymous person reply's almost exactly the same way everytime! They must be part of the office staff. It would make sense because of the word's used and incorrect puncuation. "Hater" come on how old are we? Couldn't you have used a different word. Or just did some actual work instead of coming on here and replying to everyone whom posts comments that wouldn't rate this property good! Face it; it's the truth! The office staff is clueless, and unprofessional. The maintenance is worthless and the apartments are over priced for such cheap appliances and paper thin walls. I'm very happy I moved out. One year was enough, and it's so funny that I happened to come on here to post a comment and see a response like this; it was to be expected. The person replying to all these has to much time on their hands and is very juvenile. With that said, I agree 100% that Mount Vernon is not the place to be!!!! The grounds are trashy, parking is not sufficient, too much criminal activity, apartments are run down, and office staff is on another planet, and you will start seeing bogus charges on your account so look elsewhere!!

I honestly think something is going on FINANCE wise with the property managers. I have gotten several "late rent" letters when I have never been late on rent, only to be told that it applies to water/sewage. However on the same letter it has "bill back water/sewage" as a separate billing. I'm thinking whoever the owners are of this property need to look into the accounting department ASAP, I smell some fraud and money stealing going on.

I agree with all these... oh and the drug activity. Don't copmlain call the POLICE. The person selling deserves it... he's an ass.
