I am currently a residence at orleans village. I have recently put in for a transfer for an one bedroom to a two bedroom. I was told that I was denied transfer due to rental history. Well my rental history is excellent. The rental office had made a mistake and posted my rent for the wrong date which made me late for the month of July which made my account build up late fees every month. After making several phone calls to the business office re this mix up I was told that the problem had been fixed. Now five months later they are telling me that I can not transfer due to late payments. After i explained my situation i was told that i could transfer under the condition that i am never late on my rent. I was also told that i would have to go through the process as if i am a new resident and have to put up first month rent again after being told that my deposit from my previous apartment could be transfered. Here i am a week before move in and can not move because who has two mths of rent saved up especially during the holiday. All mangement can tell me is that they are sorry and if i want to wait until i can save the money they would be more than happy to transfer me. i also should let you know that at least every three months staff is changed and also you can never talk to mangement because there always in meetings or on another phone call. Please do not hold your breath waiting on a call back because you will die.
