First off, the management is awlful! They do nothing about anything and everything!!! I've made several complaints about noisy neighbors and reoccuring problems and they just ignore the situation! I've wrote several letters, emails, and had to call the police on more than one occasion and the office does absolutely nothing! Not to mention I've only been here for 2 months! For instance. My burners on the stove went out today, I called several hours ago about the problem, and still nothing! Oh, did I mention about the illegal immigrants around here' Theres tons of them moving from apartment to apartment like cockroaches...Which is another problem they have here... actual roaches! My apartment isn't that bad yet, but I've been seeing them alot recently.
This place wouldn't be all that bad if they had management that actually does their jobs.
I.N.S. should definately check this place out. They would have a field day...LOL
Anyway, If you like places with bad management, illegal immigrants, noisy neighbors who party until 5:00am, trash in your backyard. Then this is the place for you! Highly not recommended

Sounds like you have problems living with people outside of your race, if you have problems living with people outside of your race you are living in the wrong area, not to mention the wrong planet. Sincerly, Neighbor who likes the community and loves the staff that help run it. |

I live in Orleans Village too.. My neighbors in one garden apartment near me have not respect for themselves there children or there neighbors [community]. I've counted 4 adults and 2 children living in a 2 bedroom apartment. The complex is now starting to charge for water - Based off of the people on the lease. If more people are living there than on the lease, they don't have to pay more for water usate. How is that fare to anyone else that is living there with a proper leagle lease ? About a month ago they jacked up one of there trucks; riped out the transmission and rebuilt it on the sidewalk and grass in front of their apartment. The lease states your not suposed to work on your cars. Especially this extent of work. In working on there transmission, they were using a torch [a torch]around oil and fule. All while drinking. Heck this last weekend they dug out their table saw and cutup 2x4's, then over filled the gril and started a the gril with lighter fluid. The wood was piled about 18 inches high and the flames, lets just say I'm glad the place didn't burn down. Then they proceded [like every weekend] to drink, party, play music till 4am. You walk by there apartment any day of the week and you'll beer bottle caps from there beer all over the groud outside there apartment. OH by the way, the good neighbors they are, have lived here for over a year & still have Calif Plates on their 3 trucks... which are never parked in a single space. They seem to think that double parking is fine in front of there apartment. And lets talk about people that have problems living with others. The -------- in this case [which this rant is about] have never once said hello to me, the neighbors next to me or anyone else that doesn't speak spanish. Don't dare try to call me a racest my sister-inlaw is mexican and the nices person I have ever ment. BTW the latin-american that answers the phone in the mgmt office, won't pass along any complaints about neighbors. {{You know, protecting there own shall we say}} Best bet is to start writing letters to the Mgmt office.. but don't start there - copy the letters and send them to the corporate office. That does get some attention. |

Dear Ararararar, I know what you mean! I've about had it with this place! All these people do around here is cause grief for people who are actually trying to do something with their lives! Just last night across the hallway, my neighbors who I've been having problems with (ever since I've moved in a few months ago) decided to have a little party with 20 or so people! People were fighting out in the parking lot, yelling and arguing in the hallway, I even heard a girl saying something along the lines of being afraid to enter the apartment or someone was going to jump her! Then I had to wake up with Salsa music being played next door at my other neighbors. It was on full blast and their dog constantly barks as well! Just rediculous! And believe me, I've tried writing letters, emails and everything else and I'm lucky to get so much as a response back from Pam or Johan. My next step is to call Consumer Affairs and the Heath Department to investigate this matter further concerning the management and my neighbors. I heard the corporate office hardly does anything either! If management was smart they would start running some of these problematic people outta here and start making stricter policys. That way they wouldn't have to deal with problems all the time. Also, I know what you mean about calling the management office... No help there either!!! The office staff is very rude when you call about a problem and they treat you like you don't even live here. All and All this place could be spectacular if management decided to actually enforce the rules and regulations of the lease you sign. Why not do random walk-through inspections (hint, hint)? Maybe even come out of the office for once and walk around the grounds to see whats going on around them (like grills on everyones porch their not suppose to have, not to mention, cloths hanging from their balconys and piles of trash... yes piles of trash, piled half way to the ceiling) *sarcasm off* So if your thinking about moving in here, seriously consider what I'm saying. Because if your a quiet and sane person and you move here, it's enough to drive you INsane! Good Luck! |

692369, It does not sound like this reviewer is being racist. It is a reality that this area is over run with Latinos and close to 100% are not here legally. It is upsetting to the Americans that want a decent place to live that we have to share everyday things with people who managed to make it this far north. Nothing against the spanish, but you all in general have some ridiculously tacky, rude, and unthoughtful habits. It is unsightly to have visitors come by and they have to witness the private block parties happening in the parking lot and the noise generated from an over crowded apartment. My advice call your local government and zoning officials because plently of laws and rules are being broken on the property everday. Calling INS is a good idea to and while your at it tell them to get all the day laborers that hang at every 7-11 in a 50 mile radius. Management was always horrible and the roach problem will never be fixed. They will have to displace every resident for a month and go thru and spray every building or tear the place down and start all over. B.T.W. "OuttaHereInAYear" I love reading your reviews and agree completely. |
