Greetings-

I'll be heading to the area come this winter, and came across the Orleans Village apartment complex. It would appear rent for an apartment would fit into my budget. Could someone please provide some details on living conditions at the Orleans Village' To give you a little more info on myself, I'm a construction contractor looking to relocate from west Texas to Alexandria for a 3 yr construction contract. I have some questions regarding living conditions and co-habitant lifestyles you could say I'm not a big fan of the --------, and would prefer to avoid any situations like that if possible. Any info would be helpful-

I think it's pretty clear he is not giving a review, as the overall rating defaults to YES (and each category rating defaults to the middle or 3rd out of 5 ratings). Even the drunk latinos picked up on that. Your just jealous b/c you are not Mexican. I hate you!

I have lived at Orleans Village for years and the staff is wonderful. The new touches to the management office look great! I love my community it is very nice place to live.

I lived at Orleans Village in 2003. When I was there things were honestly awful. No joke there were roaches everywhere I remember being in tears because my then boyfriend and I could not get rid of them. Maybe things have changed, but I will always be haunted by my time there and much much more careful about where I rent in the future. It is easy to find affordable living in Alexandria, but you have to put up with a lot of b.s. for what you are paying. In my experience most places near D.C. have a bug problem except Barton's Crossing 205 Century Place, Alexandria, VA 22304, (703) 370-7200. If you want to live further west try Loudoun. Cascades crossing is reasonable and bug free only complaint there is the parking enforcement. On a personal note you people don't need to attack someone for wanting feedback. The percent of people who recommend Orleans Village is in the 20th percentile that should say everything. Grow up because I doubt that anyone is jealous because they are NOT Mexican. The people you should hate are your own kind that have come into the area and taken over. Cars parked on lawns, 20 to one home, 8 people to a car, 13 kids per household. Tell me who would be jealous of that?!?! Yeah cause everyone wishes they could be that tacky and ghetto. If anything people (legal citizens!!!) in the area are fed up with you "--------."
