Just don't. Ever.

The only perk you get is that the electricity is paid for by Orleans Village. Thus, they have a draconian main system to control hot or cold air flowing in to everyone's home. So, even if you turn your thermostat to 40, you're going to have the temperature that they set. And let me tell you, they are not generous. And, in fact, after this main boiler room FLOODED, we have NO AC. For an indefinite amount of time. Of course, all this is after the power has been out for two straight weekends (more recently after the wimpyest thunderstorm ever).
The Management has the worst work ethic ever. Obviously none of them actaully live here (why would they'''), so that if any problems, like, oh a power OUTAGE happens, they are conveniently not there to deal with it. They selectivly answer their phones on normal days, and when they do pick up they are extremly rude (making excuses and not acknowleging any problems). In fact, they are so lax that my they still will not take a check for my roommates dog... they simply refuse it for bizarre reasons every time he goes.
And one last thing, on top of what I've said and every other poor review has said (dirty, loud, immigrants, etc), they are really bad about telling you corporate policy. For example, we wanted to look in to breaking our lease, and they said as long as we give two months and a 500 dollar penalty we would be fine. Unfortunatly, corporate policy says otherwise (still liable for rent to the lease, much higher penalty, paying back concessions). So, if we had signed the form, believing what the leasing office people told us, we would be screwed out of every cent we had, and then some.
