Very nice, but things to note.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
Pluses:
Brand-new; some units back to trees; excellent fitness-clubhouse facilities; nice management; white faux wood window blinds; neutral kitchen decor; allows pets; personal garages available.
Minuses (depending on preferences):
Allows two pets per apt.
Right next to beltway--apts in certain areas no doubt experience a great deal of highway noise.
Cheesy kitchen appliances, esp. oven (i.e., you will note that it can be hard to light stove burners when oven is pre- or re-heating; no indicator to tell you when set temp reached, no timer or clock).
You may not appreciate the textured walls or easily nicked vinyl flooring (squares vs. more durable padded sheet vinyl).
High rate of noise transmission between floors and common walls (low-end carpet, padding and insulation); however, this is consistent with most new apts of this style (garden). If you luck out with quiet neighbors, you may never know.
Noisy pipes in most units. Depending on apt style, problem evident in bedroom. Could be a real issue for light sleepers.
In the end, if you work in the city and don't care either way about a suburban setting, you might want to pay a few hundred more a month for a similar place in DC.
