Was nice until management changed. Scarier inside gates than out.

We moved in while the property was still being completed in 2002. It was Archstone Van Dorn at that time. It was a nice, affordable property. Staff (and especially the maintenance guy, John) was very helpful. Any problems that came up were swiftly taken care of.
We had the unfortunate luck of having ridiculously loud and rude upstairs neighbors. Archstone took care of it.
We suspected a mold problem in the bathroom/ bedroom area. Archstone sent out workers to tear out the bathroom wall and check it.
But, after the property changed hands, things were dramatically different. Trash was overflowing the dumpster area, big big dogs were running loose, leasing office staff didn't want to be bothered with residents' problems. They seemed more concerned with filling the place up with low-lifes. I thought gates were to keep the bad guys out. Not the other way around...

Not another one of those ..."archstone left and this place went downhill" stories! this is terrible! I really don't know what to say here.
