I used to live there almost 5 years and let's just say I still have friends and family that's still there and they always complain about it's not liveable for anyone. They have NO lights in the playground area so it's total darkness and unsafe to walk back there even for a shortcut. When I was living there, someone would always come into my apartment to do work or I don't know just to look around but I'd come home and things would not be the same way I left them. My friends go through the same thing and I told them they need to get a security camera to see who's in and out of your place while you're not at home.

I also told them to always keep a tape recorder on them when they are go into the rental office because manangement there will try to twist your words, and try to evict you for speaking your mind. The resident manager there is named Luwanna she is very unprofessional and always work with her personal feelings when that is the number one mistake you can do when dealing with the public. She evicts people for NO good reason, she lies about it and she is very confrontational, it's very scary, that's why I'm glad I got out but my friends and family are just praying for justice and fairness.

I was in my apartment for almost a year before I could get maintainence in there to fix everything that needed to be fixed. They had this one maintainence guy there that lived on property and he would throw parties all the time and his music would be so loud that I'd hear it when I had my daughter at the pool and he lives on the backside.

The trash cans attracts rodents and it's very embarrassing to have a vistor to come over and there is trash everywhere because it's overflowing with all kinds of garbage. Maybe they need to put more trash cans to accomodate everything, I don't know but that's not my problem anymore. I just feel bad for my friends and family that has to go through that type of hell everyday!!

I just hope they send the manager to some classes on how to handle issues without getting up into people's faces because that can be a very dangerous situation for her and innocent bystanders.

Having lived at Parkwood forthe last 8 years I can truthfully say it is in better shape under the present manager than any of the others!! It still has a long way to go but far better than when I moved in. Keepup the good work!!!

I don't see any changes with the new management but the upgrade interior design in the rental office. Can we get some upgrading damn. I don't think it is in better shape at all. What is different same cheap quick fix ups and delays, poorly manage community, squeezed parking space (I'm small and have to squeeze to get out w/o hitting the other car doors) horrifying property manager and disrespectful, chipped glazed bathtub (just aint working to fix the problem), trash not being emptied everyday and over crowded, roaches, ghetto neighbors (all races), dirty pool, unremodeled apartments (old and burnt out, but vacant ones get a little touch up, still a hole in the wall), ceiling collasping in bathdroom and kitchen (of course where water runs), water turned off unexpectly, carpeted floor/thin walls isn't just working for privacy unless your on the higher level or have respectable neighbors, oh and if you are on the higher level be careful of rainey days it will start leaking or break through, balconies are rain in, paint looks ridiculous, washing machines arent washable and always out of order and a dangerous place in the building very very unsafe doors in the laundry room maybe opened peek a boo, terrible lighting on the property, nonworking outdoor phones and cords used to hold outside door open, officer is always off duty he works when he wants to but really works if the real police is called like he doing his job "give me a break", hallways smells and unkept, everything is covered over painting, maintenance requests, holes, cracks everywhere, and maintenance staff is unprofessional at all times. And the park is dangerous with rocks around and no lighting (this property has been kept the same for over 20 plus more years) but they sure want their rent on time.
