I have lived here for almost 3 years. I wish that I had looked around more before I decided to move here, but overall it has not been that bad. The apartment complex is in a great location, the rent is not too expensive compared to other apartments in the local area. All of the fixtures in the apartment work fine. I've never had any trouble with the gas/ water/ dishwasher, etc. This place does not have rodents or bugs or anything like that.
The one bad thing about living here is the parking. Its a real problem. Also, the management is pretty rude. They are basically just not nice or helpful at all. I have never had a 'warm fuzzy' about the management. In fact, if they worked where I worked they would probably be fired within a week. The pool is o.k., but its kind of awkward because nobody talks to each other or tries to get to know their neighbors.
I've learned that in this area, everything is going to be a tradeoff. I was willing to sacrifice great parking and a friendly staff for an apartment that is near 395 and doesn't have a lot of maintenance problems. I feel like I'm paying thru the nose for this place ($1060/mo.), but if I wanted more quality, I would probably have to move down the street and pay $1300/mo. or more (which I wasn't willing to do).
