I can confirm the place is awful.

We are trying our hardest to get out of this apartment right now. There is constant construction and "improvements" to things that didn't need fixing, creating all kinds of noise and inconvenience. (Come on, why did the concrete floors outside the units need to be painted gray' A gray which is flaking off 2 months later, mind you.) They tore off all the roofs and replaced them even though they didn't need it. The bang-bang-banging went on all weekend for several weeks in a row.

Every day, there is some new note stuck in our door about how we're going to have to park in a different place or how they're going to be repainting our porches (that same scabrous gray). The notes are often incorrect about the dates things will happen, too. For example, we got a note about the porches two days after two workmen showed up on the third floor porch in a cherry picker, scaring the living daylights out of me.

The management is totally unresponsive to requests for service or information. The hall lights were out for a week in one building, even though all the tenants who lived there called to complain on the first day.

Parking is a nightmare. The spaces are numbered and assigned, and you have to pay $100 extra a month if you need more than one space. Only management keeps switching everyone's parking spaces around so people are always parking in the wrong spaces by accident.(They supposedly have a tow truck arrangement in case someone parks in your space, but nobody answers the phone there.) And forget about having visitors come see you, there's no place for them to park without fear of being towed.

They have a gated access, but for over a year that gate has been left open 24/7. What's the point' They recently said they were going to start closing it again at 7pm every night, but they're only going to issue one key fob to each apartment. Ever heard of a married couple living in a one bedroom' Do you think we might need two key fobs' Apparently not.

These are just the highlights of the inconvenience and annoyances we have had at the Pointe. There is much, much more.

Oh, and doesn't anyone besides me think it is suspicious that all of the "glowing, happy" reviews below are coming in twos, but always on the same day' Ten bucks says it's people from the management. Especially with that "jilted lover" comment. I'm not a jilted lover, I'm just not spending $200,000 to live in a tiny one bedroom apartment with paper thin walls.

Steer well clear of the Pointe at Park Center!
