I think it's a bit problematic to have reviews of a condo community on an apartment ratings site, because each unit can be so different. Personally, I've had no problems with noise or packages being stolen or anything of the sort. The parking situation can be a pain when I have guests. And I do agree that for a "gated" community it is not that secure. Half the time the gate's open, and the other half of the time it's easy enough to wait and sneak in behind someone. But even so, I've never felt unsafe. The location is GREAT for my drive to work (Capitol Hill) but I wouldn't like it as a Metro commuter, since the Metro "shuttle" is just a cramped van.

It's a very pet-friendly place, but I think it would have to depend on the unit's owner, if you're looking to rent here. My landlord doesn't charge a pet rent, but some might. There are LOTS of dogs. Once in a while barking is a problem, but really rarely. Oh, and I've had an early-summer ant problem two years running. I think it has to do with being on the first floor, and having pet food that stays out. It's only for a month or so and then is gone.

On the whole it's a perfectly adequate place to live. The rent's a bit high for me, but I like having a washer and dryer and assigned parking and being so close to work.
