This is an attractive complex with nice units. However, if you require storage, parking or work hours that are not 9-5, you may have some issues. Parking availability varies by units and visitors parking is not readily available as most residents permanently park their cars in visitors spots (leaving their designated spots open) in order to have a location closer to their unit. There is only 1 block of street parking which fills quickly and you are likely to get a ticket and get towed if you park elsewhere.
The units are nice but try to avoid a bottom unit as there are issues with noise and utilities tend to get backed up which can create issues in your apartment, at your expense of time and money.
If you rent from an owner, please be aware that Management will not respond to your requests and only to your landlord, so hopefully you will have a responsive. landlord. Maintenance isn't as knowledgeable in the building infrastructure as one would prefer. You will often need an outside subcontractor to address problems.
Transportation - a shuttle to Pentagon City runs 5 days a wee as well as Public Transportation; you will require a car for the weekends.

I'm thinking of buying a property at The Pointe. Are the utilities back-up in the mid-rise units or in the garden style units? Is the noise coming from people qho live there or from the highway? Thanks!
