with me being the only exception, i can confidently say that 1201 Braddock Place is comprised of the DC metro area?s dumbest, most invidious, and repugnant smelling people. they are are rude and uninviting and have absolutely no people skills whatsoever. I find myself asking six times a day, "Out of about 10 million sperm cells, how were you the fastest'"





if you can find it in your heart to put-up with your neighbors, then here?s the deal with the apartments themselves. the toilets require a par 6, and the building engineers must have been ex-cons who got used to the idea of having cold showers. if you enjoy the occasional hot bath, and who doesn?t, those wrenchmonkeys still haven?t figured-out how to make my tub work. there is no view anywhere in this place, whether that be the N.E. corner of the 14th floor, or the South-facing end of the first floor (lest you have some affection for towering broadcast stations, open construction sites, blinking lights, and an ear for the local flavor), and if that doesn?t take its toll on your constitution, you had better get used to strangers telling you how "you must?ve fallen from the ugly tree and hit every branch along the way". Because that?s what they?ll say when you style your hair in the dark since the same wrenchheads who can?t fix your tub apparently don?t have the advanced degrees to repair that bathroom light fixture either.





ps - the appliances are junk as I am better-off blowing on my wet laundry through a straw rather than chance it with the dryer, and what insulation the building has is defined as the physical space lining the perimeter of each floor that is the apartments themselves as the individual rooms clearly have no insulation from the elements. the community fitness amenities lack a bench press, probably the manliest work-out machine, and the reason why i am skinny and unattractive to women.





about the only thing redeeming is the vicinity to the metro - not for the trains themselves, but for the weekend street racing that goes-on in the parking lot.





As for the management, don?t even get me started. MC Hammer is the head honch for a Mexican-run fence, and with a Russian frontwoman, who would ever suspect this cosmo. little outfit' . . and as if to give worth to their valueless stations in life, they are perpetually caught-up in making unnecessary and unneeded "improvements" to the lobby area. There have been more renovations than Joan has had facelifts. If Paradigm Management had their act together, one could really hand-out some early retirement tickets for this wily gang of seven and take-on a monkey to do their work, preferably a gorilla who can sign.





and if you've only heard about "bait and hook", Braddock Place is a live-in class that will show you the seamy underbelly of the leasing profession first hand. unfortunately, you will be the pigeon as the rent will skyrocket out of this world when you renew your lease. From the same leasing office who brought you the the first-ever "non-refundable move-in deposit"!





so unless you are looking for an image change towards the heinous, don?t live here.
