Having just relocated from south Florida, these apartments are everything I expected this area to be. Tree lined streets, red brick buildings and a older but well maintained and remodeled apartment. It is great to be able to walk to shopping, the bus line and leave my car parked. My neighbors are friendly and have gone out of their way making me feel welcomed. I have only been here 3 months, but I do really like my apartment. The people in the office are nice and the maintenance people have fixed the one problem I had very fast. I would tell anyone I know to move here.

This must have been written by the staff or resident manager because no one is really happy with the living conditions, except possibly the ones who came up from across the border who lived worse. Even the county Health Department isn't all that anxious to take them on, using the excuse that Alexandria is a "river city". Trust me, millions of people live near rivers and don't have this problem. It would also be nice to have someone in the office and maintenance departments for whom English as a first language, not a poorly understood second or third.
