I am not a member of management. Both my wife and I are professionals that moved to the area in 2006. When we first moved to PG we had a roach problem. However, the problem was eventually resolved. We have since signed our third one year lease. We have never had a mouse problem. Sometimes my neighbor plays his music too loud, but a quick call to the cops solves that problem. The management has always been courteous and responsive. My wife is hispanic, I am not, so I don't talk to my neighbors too much. However, I have found them to be friendly and helpful. We never have any maintenance problems, i.e. airconditioner, appliances, water (cold or hot), electricity, etc.
The location is pretty good. Walking distance to McDonalds, CVS, grocery stores, Potomac Yards shopping center, Target, Regal movie theaters. Twenty minute walk to Del Ray. Short bus ride to Pentagon City/Crystal City/Old Town Alexandria and associated Metro stations. Short car trip to Arlington, DC, Costco, Walmart, and many other stores and restaurants.
The most attractive thing about PG is the rent, $959 for a one bedroom with a small office area. Most other apartments are $1200 and up. Not fancy, but adequate.

Im glad its working out for you. Management refused to do anything about the mice and roach problem when I was there....after buying countless bottles of lysol, roach spray and mouse traps, I got out as soon as my lease ran out.
