I have only lived at the Alexan for a short time, and although the apartments are nice, the leasing staff was pretty inaccurate about the rules and regulations when I got my tour. It was as if they just told me what I wanted to hear until I signed my lease, and then informed me later what was REALLY true. I was told that my pet deposit was going to be $200, half of which was refundable. Actually, my pet deposit was $400. My other concern was the limited parking. When I took my tour, I was told that there was more visitors parking than there actually is. Oh, and for the 2 months that I have lived here, the call box has not been set up yet, so your friends had better have a cell phone if they want to be let in the building. The only recommendation that I would make is that you ask a few different people your questions when you go on your tour, and hopefully someone will give you a straight answer.
