I have to agree with the others... this is not what I expected of a brand new apartment complex. My floor of the midrise building was flooded a couple weeks ago, the elevator has been broken ever since... no apologies or attempts by the management to make up for our inconvience were made. Also... the windows might as well not even be there... according to my gas bills I must be heating the city of alexandria rather than just my 1 bedroom apartment! There is an optional alarm system (which i never even activated) that constantly makes knocking and tapping sounds all day and all night long. I moved in 2 months ago and the things that I found wrong with my apartment during the walk-through still have yet to be touched my the mysterious maintenance person... I doubt the fact that there even is one. The carpet already looks dingey after 2 months of normal wear as do the walls that you can't seem to get a scuff mark off for your life! Not to mention that the actual construction of the place is beyond terrible, honestly!!! Barely anyone lives in my building and its constantly noisy!!! The new management is not so hot... oh and if you want to meet your neighbors you might better start knocking on doors, because there has yet to be any type of get-together arranged by management... which we were told there would be when we signed our lease and forked out a large ammenities fee... At least they used to offer fresh coffee and snacks during business hours... I went in a few times lately and the pots were dry and the snacks were nowhere to be found... that feature lasted a whole month! I wish that I were able to get out of my lease!!!!!!
