Reserve at Eisenhower formerly Alexan Eisenhower

looks pretty, but overall really overrated and overpriced

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
As of Fall 2003: No elevator to the 4th floor, no electronic gate as promised, an overly enthusiastic towing company, a pool that closes on Labor Day but still keeps the lounges out *just for show*. Alarms don't work and never have. Dumpster is eight feet tall so if you're short, God help you as you try to heave the garbage up three feet. A garbage chute would be nice, since in "luxury living" you'd think you wouldn't have to haul and heave your own trash. Balconies so tiny they're basically useless. Poorly kept grounds (grass never cut, plain mulch all over w/no plants). Endless construction.
Positives: gas fireplace, nice lifeguards (contractors with Century), pleasant if ineffectual management, spacious and well-laid-out kitchen.
